Keep Drunken Drivers Off the Roads This Holiday Season

Bayside, Booze and Belts, Drunk Driving, PSA, Public Service Announcement

The holiday season is in full swing.  To keep it from becoming a time of tragedy, Bayside Police Department along with law enforcement throughout Wisconsin will once again participate in the "Booze and Belts Mobilization".

Beginning December 10th and running through December 18th law enforcement will be out in force watching for impaired drivers and occupants of vehicles not wearing seat belts.  Our goal is to continuously reduce the number of drunken drivers and accidents caused by drunken drivers.

Almost all of us have a story to tell on how a drunken driver has had an impact on our lives.  The link below is a graphic but telling public service announcement out of Victoria, Australia depicting the worst of consequences when an impaired driver takes to the road.  Note that the video link may be quite disturbing.

If you are a Bayside resident and would like to arrange for a  ride-along with an officer during the immobilization, please give our department a call at 414-351-8800.
