Kathryn Schultz of Elm Grove earned her doctor of philosophy degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in May. The wife of Peter Schultz and the daughter of Kathryn and Bernard Westfahl of Shorewood, she received her bachelor's degree from St. Louis University in 2005. She has been offered a postdoctoral position in biophysics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Sam Yuspeh of River Hills earned his doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of California-San Diego in May.

Edwin Montgomery of Mequon earned a master's degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in May. Montgomery, the husband of Mary Jo Montgomery and the father of Mimi, Chris, Lisa, Amy and Katie, received his doctorate in medicine from Marquette University School of Medicine in 1961.

The following graduates earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in May: Kathleen Griffin of Brown Deer, health promotion-health and fitness; Jacob Kavalar of Glendale, resource management-youth programming and camp management; and Erica Fenske of River Hills, biology.

Donisha Weightman of Brown Deer and Katrina Galka of Whitefish Bay earned bachelor's degrees, in advertising and in music/voice performance, respectively, from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, in May.

Chad Wehausen of Mequon earned his bachelor's degree in political science with a business certificate from the University of Colorado-Boulder in May.

Ashley Shields of Whitefish Bay earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota in May.

Margaret Gibson Wehr of Whitefish Bay earned her bachelor's degree magna cum laude in music and gender/women's studies from Knox College in Galesburg, Ill.

Andrea Weissgerber of Bayside, a student at DePaul University in Chicago, made the dean's lists for fall, winter and spring semesters. She also had an art piece, "Sweet Home Chicago (Dark Alley Way)," chosen for the Student Art Exhibition on display at the DePaul Art Museum during the month of May.

Caitlin Bobber of Mequon made the spring semester dean's list at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

The following students made the spring semester honors lists at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point: Andrea Slotke of Brown Deer; Samual Odin and Kathleen Ryan of Fox Point; Timothy Nitschke of Glendale; Paul Fix, Kristin Laux, Patrick Otero, Jordan Rennicke and Rebekah Rennicke of Mequon; Madeline Edgar of Shorewood; Whitney Boehme and Ryan Hock of Thiensville; and John Johnston and Christy Siebers of Whitefish Bay.

The following students made the spring semester dean's list at Iowa State University in Ames: Alyssa Swan of Bayside, Maxwell Gehl and Bryan Sjulson of Mequon, Akiko Suzuki of Shorewood, and Kathryn Deroche, John Jansen Gottsacker, Danielle Levings and Thomas Owen.

Scott Holdener of Shorewood and Alexandria Rogers of Whitefish Bay made the spring semester dean's list at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
