Hoth-Ward
Karina Hoth and Jacob Ward, both of Ames, Iowa, are planning a May 23, 2009, wedding at Kingo Lutheran Church, Shorewood.
Parents of the engaged couple are Randy and Kathy Hoth, Shorewood, and Lee and Mary Sue Ward, Harvard, Ill.
The bride-to-be, a graduate of Shorewood High School, earned her bachelor's degree at Carthage College, Kenosha, and will complete her master's degree in community and regional planning from Iowa State University, Ames, in May 2009. She is a graduate assistant at Iowa State University.
The future groom, a graduate of Harvard High School, earned his bachelor's at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Ill. He is a design engineer at Hirsh Industries, Urbandale, Iowa.
