Katherin Anne Adikes and Patrick Avery Rockefeller, both of Ann Arbor, Mich., are planning a 2010 wedding.
Parents of the engaged couple are Robert and Lana Adikes, Whitefish Bay, and Avery and Monica Rockefeller, West Hartford, Conn.
The bride-to-be graduated from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine, in 2004 and had a two-year fellowship with the National Institutes of Health, Washington, D.C. She is a second-year medical student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
The future groom graduated from Bowdoin College in 2004. He is employed by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The couple became engaged on Christmas Day, 2008.
