Joan Jassoy-Young (nee Rajski) of Trinity, Fla., formerly of Shorewood, died Feb. 20, 2009, at age 81.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Jassoy; children, Mary (Frank) Wiedmeyer, Janet (Jeff) Rasmussen and Peter Young; nine stepchildren, 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Eddie) Janiszewski; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Young; son, Jay Young; and siblings, Lois Schobert and Paul Rajski.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated Feb. 24 at St. Robert Catholic Church, Shorewood. Private interment was held.
Feerick Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
