April and Michael Stolte of Mequon are the parents of Isaiah Lawrence Stolte, born June 24, 2012, at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. He was 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and 19.5 inches long. He joins brother Evan, 4, and sister Grace, 2.
Kyle and Rebecca (Safer) Feerick of Shorewood are the parents of Lilly R. Feerick, born Aug. 15, 2012. She was 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and 19.5 inches long. Grandparents are Patrick Feerick of Mequon and Jeneene Safer of Shorewood, and great-grandmother is Marjorie Feerick Schlosser of Fox Point.
Samantha Terhorst of Brown Deer earned her master's degree in veterinary microbiology and preventive medicine from Iowa State University in Ames in August.

Madeline Wakley of Shorewood earned a bachelor's degree in theater arts from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha in May.

Gillian Stewart of Mequon has joined the Froedtert Hospital Foundation as director of planned giving and major gifts. Stewart was director of development at the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and, prior to that, a senior consultant with Krause Consultants, where she assisted not-for-profit, private and public corporations with fund development. Stewart volunteers at University School of Milwaukee, where she serves as the vice president of the board of trustees, and is a former member of the ethics board for the city of Mequon. Stewart received bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University in Illinois.
Anne Leplae, executive director of the French language school and cultural center Alliance Française de Milwaukee in Shorewood, was awarded the Les Palmes Académique award from the government of France for her dedication to and efforts in the expansion of the French culture beyond the borders of France. Leplae has worked in the nonprofit sector, including in refugee resettlement of Russians in Chicago and literacy work with immigrant women in France. She taught English and worked with Catholic Relief services to conduct a survey of water use in rural regions of Morocco. She earned her master's degrees in nonprofit management and international relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor's degree in liberal arts (including French) from Macalester College. Her mother is French and her father was a French-speaking Belgian. The family immigrated to Milwaukee in the late 1960s when her father was hired as a physics professor at UWM.
