Donation offer could save Gilda's Club programs
A Brown Deer businessman has offered $500,000 in memory of his late wife to save cancer-support programs at Gilda's Club. The programs were ending, due in part to damage from this summer's floods and a downturn in donations.(14)

Nicolet workers race to finish

Attention focuses on the span
In its day, the Bridge Lane Ravine Footbridge was believed to carry vehicular traffic. It was believed the bridge was erected in the 1920s.
But today, its future is uncertain as the Fox Point Village Board grapples with what to do with the deteriorating span.

Nicolet's flood damage estimate tops $5 million
The price tag for repairing Nicolet High School after 80% of the building was damaged in last month's floods rings up at more than $5 million, Superintendent Rick Monroe said Wednesday.(32)
Nicolet High School cleans up, assesses flood damage
Now that Nicolet High School in Glendale has dried out, workers will begin gutting ruined property and installing a new gym floor in the coming weeks after last week's storms damaged 80% of the building, Superintendent Rick Monroe said Wednesday.(12)
10 municipalities plus MMSD report sewer overflows
