Election Update
Below is a listing of the vacancies on local school and village boards. As information becomes available, we will update this column to let you know who is - and is not - running for re-election in April. Additional information about the elections can be found at your local school district, village or city hall.
BAYSIDE
Seats: village president and two trustees
Who's running: Village President Sam Dickman and trustee incumbents Robb DeGraff and William Hersch
BROWN DEER
Seats: two Village Board trustees, two School Board positions
Who's running: incumbent trustee Terry Boschert and Andrea Weddle-Henning for Village Board; Gary Williams is seeking election to and incumbents Dennis Griffin and Kevin Wisth are seeking re-election to the School Board.
FOX POINT
Seats: village president, two trustees
GLENDALE
Seats: Common Council seats in the 1st, 3rd and 5th districts
Who's running: Incumbent aldermen Bob Whitaker, 1st District, and Elliott Moeser, 3rd District, are seeking re-election to the Common Council.
MEQUON
Seats: Common Council seats in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th districts; two Mequon-Thiensville School Board seats
Who's running: Incumbent Jim Liska is running for re-election to the School Board.
RIVER HILLS
Seats: village president and two trustees
SHOREWOOD
Seats: two Village Board positions; two School Board seats
Who's running: Incumbent Trustee Michael Maher; incumbent Trustee Dawn Anderson will not seek re-election to the Village Board.
THIENSVILLE
Seats: two seats on the Village Board
Who's running: Trustee incumbents Ronald Heinritz and Robert Holyoke are seeking re-election to the Village Board.
WHITEFISH BAY
Seats: village president and two trustees on the Village Board; municipal judge; School Board president and two other members
Who's running: School Board incumbents Marie Greco, president, and Jim Phillips and Pam Woodard; Trustee Julie Siegel for village president; Village President Kathleen Pritchard and incumbent Trustee Tom Fehring are not running.
NICOLET SCHOOL DISTRICTS
• Fox Point-Bayside: two seats
• Glendale- River Hills: one seat
• Maple Dale-Indian Hill, two seats
• Nicolet: two seats; incumbents Laurel Bear and Kelly Herda are not seeking re-election to the School Board.
