BAYSIDE

1A lamppost was knocked over, breaking the light and severing some supports in the 1200 block of East Fairy Chasm Road on Jan. 13 or 14. The amount of damage was not available.

2A 27-year-old Sheboygan man was arrested for drunken driving after making an illegal U-turn in the 1000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 16.

BROWN DEER

3Forty-six cartons of cigarettes valued at $3,220 and $200 cash were taken from Badger Fuel, 4685 W. Bradley Road, about 4 a.m. Dec. 27. The burglars were caught on surveillance video breaking into the station.

4A 24-year-old Centralia, Ill., man was arrested for battery of a 21-year-old Brown Deer woman at 1 p.m. Jan. 2. Police were called by a friend of the victim who had received a text message sometime overnight asking for help. The couple were described as girlfriend/boyfriend. The man denied that he had pushed, chocked and slapped the victim.

5A 40-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman both of Milwaukee were arrested for theft, obstruction and outstanding warrants after taking items valued at more than $160 from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, about noon Jan. 4. The woman also had a $40 watch she said she stole from Walgreens but she actually stole it from Target. Both gave false names and dates of birth and both had outstanding warrants - his for a parole violation and hers for failure to appear for a theft arrest. The woman had five arrests for theft since 2006.

6A laptop computer valued at $1,800 was taken from an unsecured car trunk in the 5600 block of West Brown Deer Road the morning of Jan. 6.

7A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test and speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 6000 block of West Dean Road at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 9. When asked for proof of insurance, the man handed the officer a business card. When asked if he'd been drinking he said, "I'm good." When asked what that meant, he said, "One beer." His preliminary breath test was 0.179.

FOX POINT

8Two Bayside men, 18 and 20, and a Colorado man, 19, were arrested for underage drinking after a report of underage drinking in the 7400 block of North Boyd Way at 9:45 p.m. Jan. 8. Police found stacks of beer cans in the home. The men's blood alcohol contents were 0.06, 0.10 and 0.13.

9A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for underage drinking and warned for noise and trespassing after a report of people yelling on the beach in the 7200 block of North Beach Drive at 2 a.m. Jan. 9. The woman admitted drinking 3- 1/2 cups of gin saying she was remembering her father because the two of them would come to this beach "when drunk" and he had recently died. The woman had thrown the bottle and a cup on the beach and was given a warning for littering.

GLENDALE

10A 63-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of 23 packages of meat valued at $258 from Trader Joe's, 5600 N. Port Washington Road, at 2:15 p.m. Jan. 7.

11A unknown student threw a rock breaking a skylight window in the boys locker room at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 3 p.m. Jan. 7. The amount of damage was not listed.

12A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for prescription fraud and a warrant at Ye Olde Pharmacy, 5320 N. Port Washington Road, at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 7. The woman attempted to have a forged prescription filled.

13A snow blower valued at $1,000 was taken from an open garage in the 5200 block of North 26th Street about 4 p.m. Jan. 8.

14Two Milwaukee men, 39 and 34, were arrested for theft from Bebe, 5675 N. Centerpark Way, at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8. The men had more than $2,200 of items taken from that store and another $500 taken from TJ Maxx.

15A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after speeding in the 6900 block of North Green Bay Avenue at noon Jan. 9. The man would not stop and police had to use stop sticks. His BAC was 0.34.

16Five Milwaukee boys, ages 9 to 11, were taken into custody but not cited after they were found running with two bikes stolen from the 2200 block of West Raleigh Avenue about 3 p.m. Jan. 9. They ran when they saw police but were stopped. The boys were turned over to their parents.

17A 15-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for criminal damage to property after damaging clothing when removing security tags at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 6:15 p.m. Jan. 9. Damage was $100.

SHOREWOOD

18A 32-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was arrested for possession of 1.5 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, two pipes and a digital scale, after her car was stopped for expired registration in the 4100 block of North Stowell Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 7.

19A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 44 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue at 3 a.m. Jan. 8. She admitted having "a couple drinks" at a Shorewood tavern. Her BAC was 0.14.

20A 22-year-old Thiensville woman was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after failing to stop for a red light in the 1700 block of East Capitol Drive at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 9.

21A GPS unit valued at $300 and a car stereo valued at $200 were taken from cars parked in an unlocked underground garage in the 4400 block of North Wilson Drive Jan. 11 or 12. Damage to each car was more than $200.

22A 20-year-old Hubertus man was arrested for possession of 0.25 grams of marijuana and two Colgate men, 19 and 20, for underage drinking and failure to wear seat belts after the car they were in was stopped for not having a front plate in the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2:40 a.m. Jan. 13.

23A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of two bottles of liquor at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 13. After that arrest, he admitted to other thefts of liquor at that store totaling about $150 caught on surveillance video Dec. 27, Jan. 8 and Jan 12.

WHITEFISH BAY

24A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, after he failed to stop for a sign at Marlborough Drive at Chateau Place at 3:30 a.m. Jan. 11. His BAC was 0.11.

25A Glendale man reported his car was hit while parked at Sendik's, 500 E. Silver Spring Drive, before 3 p.m. Jan. 13. The amount of damage was not available.

26A 54-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving, with three prior convictions, after a report of a possibly dead man in a car in the 5200 block of North Kent Avenue at 3:40 p.m. Jan. 13. The man was not dead, but intoxicated. He was taken to a hospital where at 9:30 p.m., his BAC was 0.498.

27A 33-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving, no proof of insurance and suspended registration on Hampton Road at Wildwood Avenue at 3 a.m. Jan. 15. His BAC was 0.13.

28A 19-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested for absolute sobriety and after a breath test changed to drunken driving along with an outstanding Shorewood warrant in the 5100 block of North Woodburn Street at 3:45 a.m. Jan. 15. His BAC was 0.10.

29A 50-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving and driving left of center after being stopped for no headlights on Chateau Place and Idlewild Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 16. His BAC was 0.28.

30A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and disorderly conduct after a 911 call regarding a threat in the 2100 block of East Glendale Avenue at 6:15 p.m. Jan. 16.

NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

• Firefighters responded to 115 calls, 78 emergency medical and 37 fire/rescue, Jan. 10 to 16.

31Police and North Shore Fire Department responded to a 911 call from a resident reporting a carbon monoxide alarm coming from another apartment in the 500 block of West Bradley Road, Fox Point, at 2:53 a.m. Jan. 12. Just before firefighters arrived, police were able to contact the resident and discovered it was not a CO2 alarm but an alarm clock and that the tenant was a "sound sleeper."
