1A 16-year-old Glendale boy was arrested for drunken driving and reckless driving on Brown Deer and Port Washington roads at 3:30 a.m. June 30. His blood alcohol content was 0.15.
2A 29-year-old Brown Deer man, sitting in his car, was arrested for possession of 0.6 grams of marijuana in the 4400 block of West Dean Road at 9:30 p.m. June 15. When he opened the door, a large cloud of smoke appeared with the strong odor of marijuana. He told police he could smell it too but someone else must be smoking the drug because he wasn't. He did admit that a "small amount" of the drug would be in his car.
3A 22-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving after backing into a Dumpster outside a bar in the 7600 block of North Teutonia Avenue at 2:50 a.m. June 25. When asked to see his driver's license, the man handed an officer his credit card. When asked if he'd been drinking, he said "Nothing" then "a little bit." His BAC was 0.18.
4A 42-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving, twice within a few hours, unsafe lane deviation and speeding 45 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 5100 block of West Calumet Road at 12:15 a.m. June 26. The man denied speeding telling police "just do your thing, man." When asked where he lived, he said, "On (expletive) Dean Road" adding, "I didn't have (expletive) to drink." His BAC was 0.22. After being booked, the man was picked up by a friend. He returned, however, at 2:30 a.m. to retrieve his cell phone and was again arrested for drunken driving.
5An AM/FM CD player, GPS unit valued at $2,000 was taken from a car in the 9400 block of North Green Bay Road between June 27 to June 29. Damage was $200.
A warrant was issued for a 24-year-old Milwaukee man on allegations of substantial assault/domestic at 11 p.m. June 28. The man broke into his father's home and assaulted him, causing a cut to the eye and bruised ribs. He then fled the scene. The father said he had cancelled his son's cell phone after receiving a bill for more than $1,000 and that's why he was so angry. Police were able to contact the suspect who agreed to come in early the next morning. He didn't arrive and a warrant was issued.
6A purse and contents valued at $300 including $150 cash was taken from a car at Doctor's Park, 1810 E. Fox Lane, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 24. Damage to a window was $300.
7A 12-year-old Bayside girl and a 13-year-old Fox Point girl were arrested for theft from Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 5:30 p.m. June 26. The girls had taken two pre-paid phones valued at $60 days before and were recognized when they came back to the store. The Fox Point girl had the stolen phone with her which she had marked with nail polish.
8A 17-year-old Minneapolis girl was arrested for underage drinking after police saw her walking barefoot on the railroad tracks near Calumet Road and Boyd Way at 7:50 a.m. June 27. The girl said she was lost because she'd just moved here. When asked, she admitted drinking saying "But not today. Earlier." Her preliminary BAC was 0.125.
9Electronics and jewelry valued at more than $5,000 including laptops, a DVD player, camera and game systems and $400 cash were taken from the 4800 block of North Navajo Avenue during the day June 24. Entry was gained through a back window.
10Two 16-year-old boys and one 15-year-old boy were arrested for theft after a witness saw them take a GPS unit from a truck at Bayshore Town Center, 575 W. Glen Bay Ave., about 6:45 p.m. June 24. The boys fled but were found a few blocks away about 8 p.m. One of the boys had an air soft pistol and was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and two for obstruction after giving false names. One of the 16-year-old boys was also arrested for trespassing. Earlier in the year he had given a lifetime ban from Bayshore. While at the police station, this boy laughed saying he would return to the center the next day - and he did and was arrested again for trespassing at 4:45 p.m. June 25.
11More than $300 was taken from an unlocked safe in an office at Kopp's Custard, 5373 N. Port Washington Road, between 10 and 11:30 p.m. June 24 and reported June 25.
12A 59-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, with three prior convictions before 1999, and refusal to take a breath test as he left Speedway, 6170 N. Green Bay Ave., at 7:30 p.m. June 26. Customers had told the clerk to call police believing the man was drunk. When asked to take field sobriety tests, the man said, "Police are setting me up." His preliminary BAC was 0.197.
13A 45-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and hit and run after he was found passed out in a running car blocking both lanes of traffic in the 2100 block of West Hemlock Road at 1 a.m. June 27. The man had hit a mailbox a few blocks away damaging it and his car. He denied it and also that he had been drinking saying he was just tired. His BAC was 0.13.
14A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for attempted prescription fraud at Ye Olde Pharmacy, 5320 N. Port Washington Road, at 1 p.m. June 27. On June 24, he gave the pharmacy a copy of a prescription for a Schedule II narcotic drug. The pharmacy checked and found it had already been filled at a another pharmacy and notified police. When the man arrived to pick up his prescription, police arrested him. The man said he is in a great deal of pain and needs to take a double dose of the medication for it to help.
15A customer reported that his $750 smart phone was taken as he shopped at the Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, at 4:45 p.m. June 27. He said he put his phone on a table and forgot to take it with him.
16A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman is a suspect in a car theft from Enterprise Rent a Car, 5623 N. Green Bay Ave., on June 28. The woman had rented a 2011 Chevy Malibu valued at $20,000 April 17 and was to return it May 16. She extended the agreement but only paid a portion of what was owed and police were called. They went to her residence in the 4700 block of North 32nd Street and were told by the manager that she moved a month ago and was now driving a brand new Chevrolet.
17A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is a suspect on allegations of for theft of more than $14,000 of Apple products including smart phones and digital tablets from the Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, at 5:30 p.m. June 28. The man, an overnight security guard at the store, reportedly admitted taking the phones June 18 to 20 and putting them up for sale on Craigslist.
18A 24-year-old man, residence not available, was arrested for drunken driving with a prior conviction and speeding in excess of 100 mph in a 55 mph zone in the 6800 block of Interstate 43 at 1:15 a.m. June 30. When asked about his speed, the man said, "I guess I was going a little fast." His BAC was 0.08.

19A 26-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 44 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2:30 a.m. June 25. His BAC was 0.11.
20A 46-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft from Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at 2 p.m. June 25. The woman loaded a cart and recyclable bags with alcohol, hygiene products and laundry detergent valued at more than $500. She then attempted to hide the items by covering them with paper. At check out, she paid for a small item and left the store but was followed and stopped by an employee.
21A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct/domestic and a warrant after kicking in a front door and throwing a rock through a window in the 4000 block of North Bartlett Avenue at 3 a.m. June 26. About an hour earlier, this same man caused a disturbance at the American Legion Post, 4121 N. Wilson Drive, and police were called and escorted him out.
22A 52-year-old Shorewood man bleeding badly from the shoulder walked into Walgreens, 4081 N. Oakland Ave., at 9:45 p.m. June 28. He told a clerk he needed some first aid items because he'd been stabbed during an attempted robbery at Bradford Beach and not to call police. Police were called and took the man to a hospital. The stabbing was reported to Milwaukee police.
23A $300 snow blower and a blender were taken from a garage in the 3900 block of North Farwell Avenue June 29 or 30.
24A lawn mower was taken from a garage in the 3900 block of North Maryland Avenue June 29 or 30.
25The back window of a car was reported smashed in an alley in the 2200 block of East Stratford Court at 10:30 a.m. June 30. Damage was $300.
26More than $1,200 cash was taken from a bedroom dresser in the 3700 block of North Maryland Avenue between 4 and 11:30 p.m. June 30. All doors were said to be locked but the burglar reportedly gained entry through the front door.
27A purse and a $200 smart phone were taken from a hallway or living room in the 4100 block of North Farwell Avenue before 5 p.m. June 30. The burglar reportedly walked in the unlocked front door, grabbed the items and fled.
28Two pair of earrings valued at about $4,000 were taken from the 5000 block of North Cumberland Boulevard between March 15 to April 11 and reported June 28. Contractors were working in the home during that time.
29A 53-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for a traffic violation as she drove south on Lake Drive at Silver Spring Drive at 3:50 p.m. June 28. The woman drove straight in a left-turn only lane and hit a northbound car. She was taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
30A 55-year-old Milwaukee man riding a bicycle was injured when hit by a 10-year-old skateboarder in the 5500 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 3 p.m. June 30. His injuries were unknown, but he was taken to a hospital by North Shore rescue.
31A Milwaukee man and a Waukesha woman, both 20, were arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior for having sexual contact in a car in the 800 block of East Henry Clay Street at 11:15 p.m. July 1. The man was also arrested for possession of marijuana.
32A 20-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for underage drinking and trespassing after a resident reported him passed out in her front yard in the 6200 block of North Lake Drive at 12:15 a.m. July 2.
33A 23-year-old Minnesota man was arrested for drunken driving after being stopped for driving north in the sound lane in the 5100 block of North Lake Drive at 3 a.m. July 2. His BAC was 0.18.
34A 21-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving and defective head lamps after being stopped for driving without lights in the 5700 block of North Kent Avenue at 3:30 a.m. July 2. His BAC was 0.10.
