BAYSIDE

1A 23-year-old Cedarburg man was a suspect in passing a worthless check at Atypic Gallery, 333 W. Brown Deer Road, on Oct. 26. The man purchased a $470 gold chain and paid with a check on a closed account.

BROWN DEER

2A 50-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of 0.3 grams of marijuana, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after she struck a female taxi driver as they drove to the 3900 block of West Brown Deer Road at 10 a.m. Oct. 10. She first hit the driver on the back of the head as they drove on Interstate 43. The driver called dispatch and police were notified. The woman continued to hit the driver even as they arrived at their destination. The suspect was being driven to see her therapist.

3A camera and purse valued at more than $400 were taken from a car in the 9000 block of North Green Bay Road about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Damage was $250.

4A 25-year-old Mexican citizen living in Milwaukee was arrested for driving without a license, failure to have insurance, defective lights and obstruction in the 8700 block of North 60th Street at 4 a.m. Oct. 19. The man, who had a Mexican license with his photo on it but with another man's name, did not speak English and had allegedly entered America illegally in the past and had been sent back to Mexico. He was also wanted on a nonextraditable Kentucky warrant.

5An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, and a 19-year-old DePere woman were arrested for underage drinking after a report of them drinking alcohol in a car parked at Brown Deer Lanes, 4715 W. Bradley Road, at 11 p.m. Oct. 19. The alcohol was discovered when the three walked into the building carrying a water bottle which was confiscated since no carry-ins are allowed. The bottle contained alcohol and police were notified. Their preliminary blood alcohol contents were 0.029, 0.049 and 0.058.

6A 55-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and warned for lane deviation in the 5100 block of West Good Hope Road at 2:15 a.m. Oct. 20. When stopped, the man said "I'm so sorry" and admitted to having a few beers. His BAC was 0.09.

7Three males were arrested on allegations of armed robbery at Algonquin Park, 7850 N. 51st St., at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 21. The victims, 15 to 18, were from West Bend and Brown Deer. At the park, they were approached by the suspects, one of them armed with an unknown type of handgun. The suspects robbed the victims, who were not injured, of cash and other items.

8A 20-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for burglary, underage drinking and a warrant after breaking into Poco Loco, 4134 W. River Lane, at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 23. Police found a back window broken. Blood stains were found inside the bar on the floor and a bench and two bologna sandwiches with blood spots on a plastic bag. The crime, caught on surveillance video, shows the man taking a bottle of Patron and drinking it while eating a sandwich. He then throws the sandwich away, takes another bottle of Patron and leaves. He was found walking in the middle of the 8700 block of North Deerwood Drive talking loudly although he was alone and had no phone. The man saw the police, stopped and urinated. A rescue squad is called because the man was so intoxicated. The man told police that he took a bus to the bar so he could break in.

9A 51-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, failure to have insurance and suspended registration in the 8700 block of North 51st Street at 2 a.m. Oct. 26. His preliminary BAC was 0.115 and he was taken for a blood draw.

Two incidents of domestic violence were reported this week.

FOX POINT

10A 15-year-old River Hills girl was arrested for theft, damage to property and obstruction at Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 26. The girl took an $80 cell phone into the bathroom and went into a stall. She could be heard removing the packaging. She then hid the phone in her backpack and tried to leave the store. When asked, she lied about her age saying she was 12.

11A 16-year-old Mequon boy was arrested for theft at Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 27. The boy took a $30 video game and tried to leave the store.

GLENDALE

12A 50-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and theft at Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 4:10 p.m. Oct. 20. The man, who had taken steaks valued at $48 and had a crack pipe and other drug items in his possession, admitted he smokes crack.

13A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of jewelry and clothing of more than $670 at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 20. The woman, who was seen taking jewelry into a fitting room and walking out without it, admitted stealing, saying, "I have a problem. … I need help."

14A 40-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for driving while impaired after she crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a car head on causing injury to herself and the other driver in the 7300 block of North Port Washington Road at 4 p.m. Oct. 21. She had been at St. Mary's Hospital in Ozaukee Co. earlier and left even though she was advised not to. The woman, who could not give her name and kept "nodding off," was taken for a blood draw.

15A 21-year-old Glendale man was arrested for a warrant and along with four Milwaukee males, ages 16 to 18, for disorderly conduct after fighting at Green Tree and Range Line roads at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 21. The Milwaukee males allegedly tried to jump the Glendale man because he "took their property." One of those men had a baseball bat. The Glendale man, who had an axe, fled into the bushes and wouldn't come out until canine Officer Boomer was called to the scene and after barking once, the suspect came out with his hands raised.

16A laptop computer and a suitcase valued at more than $300 were taken from a car at LaQuinta Inn and Suites, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, either Oct. 21 or 22. Damage to a window was $300.

17A 17-year-old Glendale boy was arrested for possession of 0.6 grams of marijuana and along with a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy for trespassing at The Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, at 3 p.m. Oct. 22. A blunt was found in the squad car where the Glendale boy was sitting. Both had been banned for life from Bayshore Town Center.

18A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, theft, trespassing and a warrant at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1 p.m. Oct. 24. He was seen filling a large garbage bag with 10 items valued at $932 and leaving the store. The man, who had two crack pipes in his jacket, had been arrested for theft at the Brown Deer Kohl's May 27 and banned from all Kohl's stores.

19Two Milwaukee teens, 17 and 18, were arrested for theft at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 24. The females had hidden 10 items valued at $312 in their purses.

20Items were taken from two garages in the 4600 block of North Ironwood Lane during the day or evening of Oct. 25. A $500 snow blower was taken from one and a weed whacker, tree trimmer and a gas can valued at $160 from the other.

There are no reportable incidents this week.

SHOREWOOD

21A $149 digital media player and $15 were taken from a locker in the girls locker room at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, between 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 25.

22Two cars were entered but nothing taken in the alley behind the 3500 block of North Murray Avenue the evening of Oct. 26.

23A GPS unit, MP3 player, police scanner and prescription medicine were taken from a car in an unlocked garage in the 1800 block of East Wood Place the evening of Oct. 26.

24Two hanging baskets and two box planters valued at $450 were taken from Bakers Square, 1305 E. Capitol Drive, early morning Oct. 28.

25A $100 GPS unit and a $2,000 check made out to a real estate company were taken from a car parked at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., sometime Oct. 28.

26A 26-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2 a.m. Oct. 29. The woman approached another woman and a man and called the woman profane names.

27A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to a hospital after wandering into an apartment in the 4000 block of North Wilson Drive at 11:55 p.m. Oct. 29. The woman was highly intoxicated.

28A $150 GPS unit was taken from a locked car in a garage in the 3500 block of North Cramer Street either Oct. 29 or 30. Damage was more than $200.

29An attempted burglary was reported in the 1600 block of East Beverly Road either Oct. 29 or Oct. 30. Pry marks were found on a garage door.

A 45-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for battery/domestic after she hit her boyfriend over the head with a ceramic plate causing injury about 3 a.m. Oct. 30. The man required stitches.

WHITEFISH BAY

30Tools valued at $800 were taken from a job site at 100 W. Silver Spring Drive sometime 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. Oct. 25.

31A 20-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving after revocation, failure to have insurance, suspended registration, open intoxicants and a warrant in the 100 block of East Hampton Road at 1:50 a.m. Oct. 26. His BAC was 0.09.

32A 49-year-old Milwaukee man was to be mailed a citation for theft of alcohol from CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, the morning of Oct. 26. The man was seen in the liquor department and after he left the store, an employee found he left behind his wallet with a Department of Corrections offender ID.

33A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of alcohol valued at $166 from CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 27.

34A purse, necklace and cell phone valued at more than $1,100 were taken from a car parked at the Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., sometime 10:45 p.m. Oct. 27 to 12:15 a.m. Oct. 28.

35A 42-year-old Burlington man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, suspended registration, failure to notify a change of address and no proof of insurance after he drove erratically in the 6000 block of North Lake Drive at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 29. His BAC was 0.16.

36A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, lane deviation, open intoxicants and failure to notify a change of address in the 4900 block of North Lake Drive at 2:50 a.m. Oct. 30. His BAC was 0.15.
