A 25-year-old West Bend woman was arrested for drunken driving when stopped for speeding 81 mph in a 55 mph zone in the 9100 block of Interstate 43 at 3 a.m. Sept. 22. The woman admitted having two beers to celebrate her passenger's birthday. "It's my 21st birthday," said the female passenger. "Can you please let us go?"
A utility trailer valued at $1,400 was taken from the rear lot at Brown Deer Lanes, 4715 W. Bradley Road, on Sept. 11 or 12.
A bathroom door was found damaged in the men's bathroom at Fairy Chasm Park, 5712 W. Fairy Chasm Road, the morning of Sept. 11. The door frame had been pried off causing $400 damage.
A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft, possession of a theft shielding device and two outstanding theft warrants at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 12:40 p.m. Sept. 14. The woman filled a cart with clothing valued at $340 including five pairs of jeans and then dumped the items onto the floor. She put the jeans in the booster bag and the rest back in the cart. She then walked out of the store with the bag leaving behind the filled cart. The woman's record shows 13 arrests for theft since July 2003.
A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test, failure to have insurance, suspended driver's license, improper display of license plates, three warrants and speeding 63 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 5000 block of West Bradley Road at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 15. When stopped, she got out of her car yelling "Hey, baby, baby." When told to get back in her car, which she eventually did, she said, "I'm going to kept (keep) it real with all you guys." She failed field sobriety tests and told police she had to "pee" real bad and moments later urinated in her pants and screamed, "I told you I had to pee."
An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for theft and the woman for trespassing at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 3 p.m. Sept. 17. The couple entered the store, the woman with a flat purse, the man with a flat backpack. They left the store with "bulkier" bags filled with $200 of items. The woman admitted she had been banned from the store after being arrested there for theft March 21.
A 64-year-old Fredonia man was arrested for drunken driving, with three prior convictions, in the 9100 block of North Deerwood Drive at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 18. Another driver called 911 to report his erratic driving and followed the man from Thiensville to Brown Deer. The man had a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.230 and was taken for a blood draw.
A five-piece antique sterling silver tea set valued from $3,000 to $7,500 was reported taken from a residence Sept. 11. The set came from England and included a tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl. There had been workers in the home a few days before.
An electronic tablet valued at $600 was taken from a car in the 6900 or 8700 blocks of North Port Washington Road before 5 p.m. Sept. 11. The tablet was in a case in plain sight in the car.
A bronze sculpture of three flying mallards in reeds valued at $8,000 and weighing about 100 pounds was taken from a resident's front yard residence before 5 p.m. Sept. 20.
Lawn chairs, a gas grill and a fire pit, value not listed, were taken from a back yard in the 5500 block of North Mohawk Avenue within five minutes of 12:30 p.m. Sept. 14.
A 46-year-old West Allis man was arrested for theft of nine bottles of body wash from Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 1 p.m. Sept. 14. The man had put the bottles, valued at about $50, down his pants legs tied off at the ankles with elastic hair bands. He said he was out of work and intended to sell the body wash.
Two Milwaukee boys, 12 and 14, were arrested for fraud, theft and resisting arrest after taking credit cards and cash from wallets left in the employees' break room at Sports Authority, 5850 N. Bayshore Drive, at 5 p.m. Sept. 14. The boys left the store and went to Subway, also at Bayshore Town Center, and used one of the stolen cards to buy food. About this time, a Sports Authority employee found her wallet and contents scattered in the break room and called police. The boys, after eating, went to Bath and Body Works and again entered the employees' break room. An employee saw them and they ran but were caught in Whitefish Bay. The boys are now banned from the center.
Auto parts, value not listed, were taken off a Hummer at Heiser Ford, 1700 W. Silver Spring Drive, sometime Sept. 13 to Sept. 15.
Ten spools of 10-gauge and 14-gauge wire valued at more than $1,100 and weighing about 40 pounds each were taken from a construction site in the 300 block of West Olive Street on Sept. 17 or 18. There was forced entry to a job trailer.
A purse and contents including $10 cash was taken from a car at Wisconsin Athletic Club, 7601 N. Port Washington Road, the morning of Sept. 18. A window was broken to gain entry causing about $150 damage.
Two Milwaukee women, 18 and 20, were arrested for theft of clothing valued at more than $500 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 7:10 p.m. Sept. 18. One woman loaded up a bag and the other grabbed items from a display table including many pairs of jeans and they ran from the store but were caught in Whitefish Bay. One of the women said she intended to sell the jeans on the street for $50.
A resident reported being the victim of a scam at 11 a.m. Sept. 20. He said a woman he met on the Internet, who told him she was at the Ramada Inn in Stevens Point, asked him to send $250 to the Philippines because someone was "needy" and he did. He then tried to contact the woman and found out the Ramada Inn in Stevens Point did not exist; it had been "demolished."

Four secured bicycles valued from $150 to $200 were taken, three from Shorewood Intermediate School, 3830 N. Morris Blvd., on Sept 14 or 15 and one, a BMX bicycle, from the 1400 block of East Capitol Drive on Sept. 15 or 16.
A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after ignoring three signs stating "No Left Turn on Red Light" at Capitol Drive and Oakland Avenue at 2:20 a.m. Sept. 15. His BAC was 0.13.
A 17-year-old Mequon boy was arrested for possession of 2.1 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, a drug pipe, and along with a 16-year-old Shorewood boy for underage drinking as they sat in a car in the 4100 block of North Downer Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 16.
A 41-year-old homeless woman was cited for disorderly conduct after a witness called police to report her screaming and swearing and then defecating at the bus stop at 1800 East Capitol Drive at 4:16 a.m. Sept. 16. The woman, who was described as mentally challenged, had toilet paper with her.
A resident reported an attempted strong-armed robbery when an unknown person put a hard object against the resident's back demanding money in the 3500 block of North Downer Avenue at 10:20 p.m. Sept. 17. The robber fled and nothing was taken.
A GPS unit valued at $250 was reported taken from a secured car in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue on Sept. 18. Damage was $50.
A 29-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, lane deviation/driving left of center, nonregistration, suspended license and failure to stop for an emergency vehicle in the 3800 block of North Prospect Avenue at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 19. His BAC was 0.17.
A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman is a suspect in attempting to have a fraudulent prescription filled for oxycodone at Thompson's Serv U Pharmacy, 1421 E. Capitol Drive, at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 19. When told the prescription was fraudulent, the woman left. The case is under investigation.
A 48-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was arrested for drunken driving after hitting a parked car in the 4000 block of North Lake Drive at 10 p.m. Sept. 19. Her BAC was 0.22.
A 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan valued at $5,000 with keys left inside was taken from a driveway in the 3500 block of North Lake Drive within a half-hour of 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20. A bicycle was left at the scene. The car was recovered later that evening in Milwaukee.
A resident reported being the victim of a scam after receiving a call from a male saying he was her grandson and in trouble in Beirut, Lebanon, and needed $2,800 sent via Western Union. The resident attempted to reach the grandson and when there was no answer within 10 minutes, the money was sent. A short time later the grandson called saying he was fine.
A 22-foot copper downspout valued at $440 was reported taken from Holy Family Church, 4825 N. Marlborough Drive, on Sept. 18. It is not known when the theft occurred.
A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, failure to report an address change and speeding 47 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 5400 block of North Lake Drive at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 22. Her BAC was 0.16.
A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and prowling after a report of a man on private property in the 5500 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue at 2:50 a.m. Sept. 22. Later that morning, a neighbor found the suspect's wallet, keys and shirt about a block away. The man's BAC was more than 0.08, however, the exact number was not available.
A man, age and residence not available, was arrested for drunken driving and expired registration after an officer saw him driving erratically in the 4500 block of North Wilson Drive at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 24. His BAC was 0.23.
A laptop computer, briefcase and wallet, value not listed, were taken during a burglary in the 4600 block of North Cramer Street before 4:30 a.m. Sept. 24. A door had been left unlocked.
