BAYSIDE

BROWN DEER

1A purse and contents including credit cards, a driver's license and $150 cash were taken when left unattended in a baby stroller at Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, before 12:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

2An air-conditioner unit, value not available, was reported taken from the west side of St. Mark Ev Lutheran Church, 8635 N. 60th St., at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 7. When it was taken was not known.

3A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana after several complaints of a drug odor coming from her room at the Sheraton Hotel, 8900 N. Kildeer Court, at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 7. The woman, who had 1 gram of marijuana and had been smoking it, also had a medical card from Michigan regarding her possession of the drug. That card was not valid in Wisconsin and she was arrested.

4A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test, suspended registration and speeding 73 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 5100 block of West Bradley Road at 4:15 a.m. Dec. 8. The woman's preliminary breath test was 0.158.

· A Brown Deer man, age not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related while armed after he threatened a woman with a utility knife and then telling her she "had better call police" at 5:15 a.m. Dec. 8.

5A JVC stereo and a GPS unit, value not available, were reported taken from a car in an underground garage in the 4100 block of West Hawthorne Trace Road at 10:15 a.m. Dec. 8. When the theft happened was not known.

FOX POINT

6A man and woman, ages and residences not released, were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, warrants and theft from Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, the afternoon of Dec. 6. The couple were caught on video taking four video game controllers valued at $240 and leaving the store. They were found at a nearby bus stop with the controllers hidden inside their pants. They also were found with drug paraphernalia including a burnt spoon, razor blades and allergy pills used to cut heroin. The woman admitted being addicted to the drug.

7A bicycle with studded tires and valued at $3,000 was reported taken from an storage unit in underground garage at the Porticos, 7300 N. Santa Monica Blvd., at 2 p.m. Dec. 7. When the theft happened was not known.

GLENDALE

8Jewelry valued at more than $5,000 including a gold ring and necklaces were taken from the 7600 block of North Applewood Lane sometime between March 13 and Aug. 26 and reported Dec. 4. The resident said during those dates she had a number of antique sale open houses.

9A $1,500 ring and costume jewelry valued at $200 were taken from the 1400 block of West Custer Avenue sometime May 15 to 31 and reported Dec. 10. Workers were in the home at that time and the case is under investigation.

10Tools valued at $280 were taken from a garage in the 4800 block of North Mohawk Avenue on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 and reported Dec. 5.

11A truck's window was broken but nothing reported taken in the 4700 block of North Port Washington Road between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 4.

12A briefcase with a laptop computer and an electronic tablet valued at more than $3,000 were reported taken from the community room at Panda Express, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 11 a.m. Dec. 4.

13A purse valued at $150 with credit cards and $250 cash was taken from a car parked at Walgreen's, 5400 N. Port Washington Road, about 1 p.m. Dec. 4. A window was broken to gain entry.

14An 18-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for theft of $370 from her employer Sears, 5900 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 p.m. Dec. 6. She admitted taking the money from the cash register on Dec. 2 and again on Dec. 4 because she needed to pay bills.

15A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of shirts valued at $482 from Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 3 p.m. Dec. 6. He removed the sensors from the shirts, damaging two of them, and then attempted to flee.

16Four males, 15 to 18, were seen taking five pair of sunglasses valued at $1,000 from the Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 They had been in the store earlier and returned this time taking the glasses. An employee tried to stop them but they pushed that employee to the ground and fled.

17Two 24-year-old men, a 25-year-old man, and two boys, 11 and 13, residences not released, were arrested for theft after taking clothing and electronics valued at $760 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 9. A police report states that seven males "swarmed" into the store and were seen grabbing the merchandise and then attempting to flee. Two were able to get away but five were arrested.

18A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for prowling/loitering and a probation violation for burglary in the 4600 block of North Ironwood Lane at 6 p.m. Dec. 9. A resident reported the man rang the doorbell asking for "Theresa." There was no one there by that name and police were called. The man, who had a criminal history, said he was in the area to see a friend.

19Phone accessories valued at $275 were taken from a kiosk at Bayshore Town Center, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive just after closing at about 9:15 p.m. Dec. 9. The theft was discovered the next morning when an employee took inventory.

RIVER HILLS

No reportable incidents this week.

SHOREWOOD

20An electronic tablet valued at $500 was taken from the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue sometime Dec. 1 or 2 and reported Dec. 5. There had been people in the apartment during that time.

21A video game player and two games valued at more than $1,500 were taken from an unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 1800 block of East Elmdale Court on Dec. 5 or 6.

22An unlocked car with a spare key left inside was taken from the 1900 block of East Elmdale Court on Dec. 5 or 6. It was recovered in Milwaukee at 1:25 p.m. Dec. 10.

23A male, not yet 21, residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, underage drinking and prowling after a report of him shining a flashlight into cars in the alley behind the 2500 block of East Edgewood Avenue at 3:35 a.m. Dec. 7. He smelled of alcohol and had a BAC of 0.07.

24A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 70 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 4000 block of North Lake Drive at 1:40 a.m. Dec. 8 He failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.11.

25A bicycle valued at $800 was taken from a garage in the 4300 of North Murray Avenue sometime 5:30 to 11 p.m. Dec. 8. The garage door had been open some of that time while the resident shoveled snow.

26A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering after he refused to leave Citgo, 1602 E. Capitol Drive, at 5 p.m. Dec. 10. When an employee told the man to leave, that man assaulted the employee and then fled the store but was located a few blocks away. No injuries were reported.

WHITEFISH BAY

27Two rings valued at $1,200 were reported taken from the 900 block of East Sylvan Avenue at 7:35 p.m. Dec. 9. When the rings were taken was not known but the resident reported workers had been in the home before the theft was discovered.

· Residents reported juveniles vandalizing Christmas decorations in the 4900 block of North Diversey Boulevard and at North Santa Monica Boulevard and East Chateau Place at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 10. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

28A resident reported an attempted entry in the 4700 block of North Oakland Avenue at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 12. The report said that a male broke a storm window and then fled the scene.

29A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving while revoked, nonregistration, defective stopping lights and a warrant in the 4900 block of North Anita Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 13. His BAC was 0.12.

NORTH SHORE FIRED DEPARTMENT

· Firefighters responded to 119 calls, 85 emergency medical and 34 fire/rescue, Dec. 9 to Dec. 15.
