BAYSIDE

Dan Watry, 54, of Mequon was charged with his third drunken-driving offense by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office after he was arrested on the County Line Road ramp to southbound Interstate 43 about 11:20 a.m. March 24. He was stopped for expired registration. He also was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle.

A bracelet valued at $3,600 and $500 in gold coins were taken from a bedroom drawer in the 9000 block of North Regent Road sometime within the last 18 months. The theft was reported March 27.

BROWN DEER

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for obstructing an officer, operating without a valid license, unlawful use of an identification card, suspended registration and failing to stop for a stop sign in the 8500 block of North Green Bay Road at 12:47 a.m. March 5. The man provided police with a fake identification card and false name.

One 16-year-old and two 15-year old Milwaukee girls were cited for theft after they took merchandise valued at $234 from Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, at 4:10 p.m. March 7. A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman, who drove a getaway car, was cited for being party to the crime.

An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for exposing his penis to another student in a class at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 10:45 a.m. March 9.

A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy and 16-year-old Brown Deer boy, students at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., were cited for disorderly conduct and battery, respectively, after a fight in the hallway at the school at 11 a.m. March 12.

A safe containing personal papers, credit and debit cards and a check was taken from a house in the 8200 block of North 51st Street between 1 and 2:30 p.m. March 12. Some of the stolen items were mailed back to the house.

A laptop computer valued at $899 was taken from American TV, 6700 W. Brown Deer Road, at 3:41 p.m. March 12.

A locker at Rite-Hite Family YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, was entered and electronics valued at $930 taken between 6 and 7 p.m. March 13.

A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of cable services, theft of a cable splitter and obstructing an officer after he fled on foot when found with his hands inside a Time Warner cable box in the 8300 block of North 46th Street at 12:07 p.m. March 14.

Two Milwaukee women, 20 and 23, were arrested for theft after they took items valued at $350 from Old Navy at 6:36 p.m. March 14.

Graffiti was spray-painted on the Department of Public Works building, 8717 N. 43rd St., prior to 4:24 pm. March 18. Damage is estimated at $50.

An unknown person attempted to pry the locks at Networks, 4550 W. Bradley Road, between 9 p.m. March 19 and 3:45 p.m. March 20. No entry was made.

Two windows of a car were broken in a driveway in the 9000 block of North 60th Street between 9 and 10:30 a.m. March 21. Damage is estimated at $500.

A cell phone valued at $150 was taken from a car in a lot in the 4400 block of West Dean Road between 1 and 3 p.m. March 22.

Police responded to three domestic incidents last week.

FOX POINT

A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 6300 block of North Lake Drive at 1:36 a.m. March 24. His blood-alcohol content was 0.23.

A vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run accident in the 7800 block of North Beach Drive prior to 10:25 p.m. March 28. The side and bumper were dented and a taillight was broken. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

GLENDALE

A fence was damaged in the 4800 block of North Iroquois Avenue between March 16 and 18. Damage is estimated at $700.

A wedding ring valued at $650 was taken from an unlocked locker at Le Club, 2001 W. Good Hope Road, between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. March 18.

A brick was thrown through a window at Paley Tennis Center, 2916 W. Vera Ave., the night of March 20. Damage is estimated at $350.

Cigarettes, DVDs and groceries valued at $374 were taken from Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, between 5 and 5:20 a.m. March 21.

Two Milwaukee girls, 15 and 16, were cited for theft after trying to take clothing worth an estimated $370 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, about 2:20 p.m. March 21.

A briefcase valued at $60 and containing lecture materials, four library books and a library video was taken from the backseat of a vehicle at FedEx Kinko's, 5353 N. Port Washington Road, between 11 and 11:15 a.m. March 22.

Guenther Moorbeck, 22, of Milwaukee was charged with felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office after he allegedly was found with 3.64 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of West Silver Spring Drive about 2 a.m. March 23. He was on probation on another state drug charge. Glendale police also cited him for drunken driving.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for theft after trying to take an estimated $204 worth of clothing from Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., about 4:50 p.m. March 24.

A DVD player and screen valued at $2,400 was taken from a minivan at Andrew Toyota, 1620 W. Silver Spring Drive, between March 25 and 27.

A pair of sunglasses was taken in a strong-arm robbery at Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, about 3:55 p.m. March 25, when a man, who walked out with the sunglasses, elbowed an employee in the face. She was trying to grab the glasses, valued at $200, away from him.

A car stereo valued at $200 was taken from a vehicle at Sears, 5900 N. Port Washington Road between 6:45 and 7:50 p.m. March 25. Vehicle damage is estimated at $300.

A laptop computer and case valued at $1,560 were taken from a vehicle in a lot at 5700 N. Lydell Ave. between 6:45 and 7:50 p.m. March 25. No damage estimate was available.

A side door was forced open and $3,120 worth of property taken from a home in the 6700 block of North Melissa Court between 11:50 a.m. and 4:25 p.m. March 26. A television, video game player, games and a camera were taken.

Two Milwaukee girls, 14 and 17, were cited for theft after trying to take an estimated $209 worth of clothing from Sears about 3:40 p.m. March 26.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for disorderly conduct after threatening violence to an employee at Children's Place, 5664 N. Bayshore Drive, about 5:45 p.m. March 26.

A laptop computer valued at $2,050 was taken from a vehicle in a parking lot at 5801 N. Lydell Ave. between 5:45 and 7:20 p.m. March 26.

A shoulder bag containing a digital media player valued at $250, a camera, $250, and a personal digital assistant, $200, was taken from a vehicle in a parking lot at 5800 N. Bayshore Drive between 5:45 and 7:20 p.m. March 26.

A 55-year-old Glendale woman was cited for urinating in the parking lot of the Glendale Police Department, 5909 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, about 8:25 p.m. March 27.

A 50-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving in the 5300 block of North Port Washington Road about 2:50 a.m. March 28 after being stopped for speeding.

A window of a van was smashed and a Global Positioning System valued at $300 taken in the 5600 block of North Crestwood Boulevard between 8:30 and 1 p.m. March 28.

RIVER HILLS

No reportable incidents occurred last week.

SHOREWOOD

Light bulbs and a window were smashed at a home in the 3500 block of North Cramer Street between midnight March 22 and 3:30 p.m. March 26.

A Global Positioning System valued at $400 was taken from a vehicle in the 2300 block of East Newton Avenue prior to 3:15 p.m. March 26. Access was gained by smashing a window.

Eighty-seven DVDs valued at $2,610 were taken from Blockbuster Video, 4108 N. Oakland Ave., about 10:45 p.m. March 28. The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall, with a medium to heavy build and wearing baggy clothes.

A purse containing $1,108 was taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of North Bartlett Avenue between 11:30 p.m. March 28 and 1 a.m. March 29.

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for having a stolen license plate attached to his vehicle in the 1800 block of East Beverly Road at 2:55 p.m. March 29.

WHITEFISH BAY

A 59-year-old Appleton man was arrested for possessing 2.6 grams of marijuana in the 4600 block of North Wilson Drive at 1:12 p.m. March 22.

A Global Positioning System valued at $450 was taken from a vehicle in the 1400 block of East Fairmount Avenue prior to 12:02 p.m. March 28. Access was gained by smashing a window.

A 46-year-old Glendale man was arrested for taking mascara valued at $5 from CVS, 240 E. Hampton Road, at 1:26 p.m. March 28.

NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters answered 98 calls, 77 emergency medical and 21 fire/rescue, between March 23 and 29.
