1A car stereo, speakers and DVD player were taken from a car in the 8900 block of North Park Plaza Court sometime in July or August and reported Sept. 2.
2A $300 purse and contents including a $50 wallet were taken from an unlocked car with open windows at Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, about 8 p.m. Aug. 24. The owner said she left her car unattended for five minutes.
3Thirty smoke detectors and parts for those detectors valued at more than $4,100 were taken from a vehicle parked at Four Points Sheraton Milwaukee North, 8900 N. Kildeer Court, the evening of Aug. 26.
4A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving while suspended and a warrant after he ran a red light in the 6700 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2 a.m. Aug. 27. The man admitted to having five beers and knowing he was suspended but had to drive because the car's owner was too intoxicated. His blood-alcohol content was 0.07.
5A 47-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving while suspended and running a red light all witnessed by an officer in the 4300 block of West Good Hope Road at 10 p.m. Aug. 30. The man, who thought he was in the intersection before the light changed, admitted having a "couple of beers." His BAC was 0.15.
6A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of three pairs of Nike pants and two Green Bay Packer shirts valued at more than $200 from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 2 p.m. Aug. 31. The man was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
7A TV was taken from the 8900 block of N. Park Plaza Court Sept. 1.
Vulgar drawings and obscene words were reported on four cars at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 3 p.m. Sept. 2.
8An 18-year-old Glendale man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent and criminal damage to property after he took a joy ride in a vehicle belonging to a customer of Appleby's Citgo, 7501 N. Port Washington Road, at 8 p.m. Aug. 27. The man drove into a ditch and hit some bushes in the 7300 block of North Iroquois Road where he was arrested.
9A lawn mower valued at $421 was taken from a garage in the 300 block of West Bayfield Road Sept. 1.
10A 19-year-old Bayside man was arrested for possession of one ounce of marijuana as he drove in the 7800 block of North Lake Drive at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 1. Along with the marijuana, the man had a grinder and a marijuana pipe in his backpack.
11The rear window of a car was found shattered causing $400 damage in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road at 8 am. Sept. 2. A rock was found on the car's hood.
12Two Milwaukee boys, 14 and 16, were arrested for burglary while armed in the 5400 block of North Dexter Avenue about 4 p.m. Aug. 25. The older boy pried open a screen to gain entry and took a number of items including a Beretta .40-caliber handgun, he said he found under a mattress, a $900 laptop and a school ring. He fled when police arrived but was located with the help of canine officer along with a backpack with some of the stolen items in the 2400 block of West Lawn Avenue. The Beretta was found nearby in a tree stump. The younger boy had a box of .40-caliber ammunition and a Smith and Wesson pistol.
13A laptop computer, leather briefcase and other items valued at more than $1,700 were taken from a locked car at the Radisson Hotel, 7065 N. Port Washington Road, on Aug. 28 or 29. Damage to a window was $200.
14A bank bag with more than $300 was taken from General Lighting & Maintenance Services, 6049 N. Flint Road, sometime Aug. 29 to Sept. 1. There was no sign of forced entry.
15A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and driving the wrong way on a divided highway when stopped for going south in a northbound lane in the 6200 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 3 a.m. Aug. 30. She said she was confused about the road after leaving a bar in the area. She first denied drinking but then admitted having two beers but thought she could drive well enough because she wasn't "super drunk." Her BAC was 0.20.
16A suitcase and contents valued at $250 were taken from a hallway in the Hilton Inn, 4700 N. Port Washington Road, at 7 p.m. Aug. 30. The victim couldn't get into his room so he returned to the front desk for a new key leaving his suitcase. When he returned a few minutes later, the suitcase was gone.
17A 44-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of 43 clothing items valued at more than $450 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, about 1 p.m. Aug. 31. The woman exited the store but was stopped by a security guard.
18A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana, operating after revocation and theft, along with another 22-year-old Milwaukee woman, of more than $330 of clothing from Children's Place, 5664 N. Bayshore Drive, at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 1. Clothing from other stores was found in the trunk but the woman said she paid for those items even though some were damaged when store security tags were removed. A marijuana cigarette was found in the car but the woman said she didn't know who it belonged to because a lot of people "smoke weed" in her car.
19A 38-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for prescription fraud after she tried to pass a fraudulent prescription for 120 pills of Oxycodone at Ye Olde Pharmacy, 5320 N. Port Washington Road, on Sept. 2. The woman admitted using fraudulent prescriptions at other pharmacies in May and June or July. The pills were for a man named Jamie who gave her $200, money she needed for rent.
20A 15-year-old Shorewood boy was arrested for possession of marijuana, underage drinking and, along with two other 15-year-old Shorewood boys, for curfew after they were seen loitering at Prospect Avenue and Beverly Road at 2 a.m. Aug. 28.
21A 30-year-old Beloit man was arrested for vandalism after he "destroyed village flowers" in the 4400 block of N. Oakland Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 29.
22Five 17-year-old Shorewood boys were arrested for vandalism after a witness saw them at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, at 2 a.m. Aug. 31. The boys had covered doors and windows with shaving cream, catsup, chocolate syrup and thrown toilet paper. They also tipped over garbage cans and bike racks.
23A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for forgery after attempting to get 90 Vicodin tablets with a forged prescription at Walgreens, 4081 N. Oakland Avenue, at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 31.
24Video game systems and video games were taken from the 3900 block of North Lake Drive the morning of Sept. 4. A patio door had been broken causing $1,000 damage.
25An 82-year-old Fox Point woman damaged six cars while parking at the Jewish Community Center, 6401 N. Santa Monica Blvd., about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 2. Three of the cars had to be towed. There was no information of the amount of damage or if citations were issued.
26A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving without headlights and possession of drug paraphernalia and a 19-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for underage drinking in the 4700 block of North Lake Drive at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 2. The driver's BAC was 0.13.
27A 17-year-old Whitefish Bay boy was found in possession of a drug pipe and turned over to his parents after a report of three juveniles smoking marijuana in a car in the 5100 block of North Kimbark Place at 9 p.m. Sept. 3.
28A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for his third drunken-driving offense after he was stopped for suspended registration in the 2000 block of East Glendale Avenue about 3 a.m. Sept. 4. His BAC was 0.20.
