1A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, after a report of an erratic driver in the 200 block of East Brown Deer Road at 4:25 a.m. Aug. 13. The man, who said he had "nothing" to drink, had a blood alcohol content of 0.22.
2A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving/drunken driving with a person younger than 16, and a man, age and residence not released, for littering and a parole violation after another driver reported things being thrown out of that car both on Interstate 43 and in the 8700 block of North Port Washington Road at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 15. The passenger had thrown empty beer cans out his window and was taken into custody for a parole violation because of drinking. His BAC was 0.20. A 15-year-old boy, also a passenger, had a BAC of 0.03 and was turned over to a responsible party. The driver, who said he had "a beer and a half," had a BAC of 0.11.
3A male, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of 2.5 grams of marijuana at Doctor's Park, 1870 E. Fox Lane, at 10:45 p.m. Aug. 15. Police on patrol ticketed two cars for being in the park after hours and walked to the beach where they found seven people. One of them was seen walking into the woods where police found a bag with marijuana. At first, they all denied the marijuana was theirs but then the one male said it was his. They were all warned for violation of park hours.
4A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for driving under the influence, after she was seen driving a motorcycle erratically with her breasts exposed in the 9200 block of I-43 at 7:25 p.m. Aug. 16. She continued to drive from 15 mph to 45 mph on the highway sometimes with one hand on the handlebars and sometimes with no hands. Police followed without sirens or lights flashing. Well into Ozaukee County and driving slowly, she lost control of her motorcycle and crashed. She was incoherent talking about religion and told police she was not injured but was taken to a hospital. She was wearing a patch, a medicine used for severe pain, and had also taken Oxycontin. She consented to a blood draw.
5A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of jewelry and clothing valued at more than $1,400 from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 4:40 p.m. Aug. 3. The woman was seen randomly selecting items, placing some in a cart and some in her purse and entering a fitting room. After she was in that room for about 30 minutes police were called. The woman had left the store but was stopped and admitted the theft saying she hadn't intended to take the items until she was in the fitting room.
6A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of items valued at $223 and possession of a booster bag at T.J. Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road, at 3:20 p.m. Aug. 6. The woman, who has previous theft arrests, admitted stealing and knowing it was wrong. She is also a suspect in a July theft at the store.
7A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test, driving while suspended, failure to have insurance and suspended registration after he was seen driving without a rear tire in the 8000 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 4 a.m. Aug. 7. He said he was driving to see how badly his girlfriend had ruined the car. The man, who admitted having five beers, had a preliminary BAC of 0.17.
8Two flat screen TVs, a 50-inch and a 32-inch, valued at $1,700, were taken from the 4500 block of West Calumet Road about 3 p.m. Aug. 9. The front door window was broken to gain entry setting off a motion alarm. The alarm company called the resident and police were notified.
9An air-conditioner valued at $1,500 was taken from a backyard in the 5100 block of West Wabash Avenue during the day Aug. 9.
10A digital camera and an e-reader valued at $270 were taken from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 9400 block of North 65th Street on Aug. 9 or 10.
11An attempted burglary was reported in the 5900 block of West Fairy Chasm Road about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 10. The resident said someone rang the doorbell three times and then he heard the front door glass break. Entry was not gained and the suspect fled.
· A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related, at 5 p.m. Aug. 10. A neighbor called police after hearing him yell vulgarities and the victim said the man pushed her to the ground.
12Three line trimmers, value not listed, were taken from a closed landscaping trailer at the Fox Croft Apartments, 8700 N. Port Washington Road, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 9 and reported Aug. 12.
13Two air-conditioning units were broken into and parts taken in the 7400 block of North Crossway Road sometime Aug. 11 to Aug. 14. Damage to the units was about $4,000 and the parts taken if sold for scrap would be worth about $50.
14Two bicycles each valued at about $800 were taken from an underground garage in the 200 block of West Coventry Court sometime Aug. 3 or 4.
· Cars were entered and in some cases were taken in the 5700 block of North Bethmaur Lane and the 100 block of West Apple Tree Road on Aug. 7 or 8, the 2600 block of West Custer Avenue and the 2100 block of West Silver Spring Drive on Aug. 10 or 11, the 6000 block of North Sidney Place on Aug. 11 or 12 and the 4700 block of North Port Washington Road and the 3300 block of West Good Hope Road on Aug. 13 or 14.
15A 40-year-old man, residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen driving about 10 mph in the 6500 block of North Milwaukee River Parkway at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 8. His was 0.24.
16A bicycle valued at $200 was taken from the rear of an apartment in the 700 block of West Glendale Avenue on Aug. 8 or 9.
17A digital media player and change with a total value of about $300 were taken from an unlocked car in the 5700 block of North Crestwood Boulevard on Aug. 9 or 10.
18A radio valued at $150 was taken from a car in the 6100 block of North Green Bay Avenue sometime Aug. 8 to 10.
19A purse and car jack, value not listed, were taken from an unlocked car and garage in the 4900 block of North Mohawk Avenue before 4:30 p.m. Aug. 10.
20Two boys riding bikes took money from an older man as he walked in the 5900 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 10. The man was counting the money when the boys rode up and slapped his hands causing him to drop some of it. The boys picked it up and rode away. He was unsure of how much was taken.
21Two girls, 13 and 15, residences not listed, were arrested for theft after taking a phone valued at $350 from the Sprint Store, 5575 N. Port Washington Road, at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 10. One girl fled but was found at her home. The girls were recognized as being in the store the day before possibly attempting to remove sensors.
22A set of golf clubs and tools valued at more than $1,200 were taken from a warehouse in the 6600 block of North Sidney Place sometime before 7:30 p.m. Aug. 10.
23Exercise equipment valued at $257 were taken from Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, on Aug. 10 to 12.
24Power tools valued at $885 were taken from a garage in the 5700 block of North Crestwood Boulevard on Aug. 11 or 12. Pry marks were found on a door.
25A TV valued at $1,300 was taken from the 6500 block of North Bethmaur Lane during the day Aug. 12. A door was kicked in to gain entry. The residents found muddy foot prints in the home which had been rummaged through.
26An air conditioner system valued at $3,000 was taken from a yard in the 6500 block of North Range Line Road sometime 4:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12.
27A flat screen TV, DVD player and a video game console valued at more than $2,000 were taken from the 6100 block of North Green Bay Avenue between 3:40 and 10:45 p.m. Aug. 12. Pry marks were found on the front door.
28Two 17-year-old girls, residences not released, were arrested for possession of marijuana while registering for school at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 2:50 p.m. Aug. 13. An employee noted their "unusual behavior" and that they smelled of the drug. One girl also had her face painted like a cat. They had a bag with a trace of marijuana.
29A 15-inch laptop valued at $600 and other items not listed were taken from a car at the Park and Ride lot, 851 W. Brown Deer Road, before 9 a.m. Aug. 16. The car's window was discovered broken on surveillance video and police responded. The amount of damage was not listed.
30More than 20 checks were taken from a business in 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue sometime around July 26. Those checks were then forged and cashed for more than $10,000 at a bank inside Walmart, 401 E. Capitol Drive, in late July until Aug. 1 and reported Aug. 9.
31There were three reports of people being approached by two males asking for money around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 9. The males were described as having their faces partially covered by a pulled-up shirt or a bandana and traveling in a dark green Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a female. In one incident, the males approached two boys "demanding money" in the 1300 block of East Lake Bluff Avenue and left when none was given. The boys said they feared for their safety. A woman reported that two males got out of a car asking for money in the 1000 block of East Congress Avenue. When she kept walking they left. A man reported two males called to him from a car, again asking for money, in the 4300 block of North Morris Boulevard. When the man kept walking, the males drove away.
32A diamond ring valued at about $18,000 was reported taken from a bedroom in the 4400 block of North Bartlett Avenue on Aug. 10. It was last seen July 27.
33A 1994 Honda Accord was taken from the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue on Aug. 10 or 11. The car was recovered in the 5700 block of North 37th Street on Aug. 13.
34A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for trespassing after he was found in a multicar garage in the 3900 block of North Morris Boulevard at 6:42 p.m. Aug. 11.
35A laptop and cord valued at $800 were taken from the 1300 block of East Pinedale Court between 8 and 9 p.m. Aug. 11. Entry was gained through an unlocked screen door and the items were taken from a dining room table. The residents were in the home but did not hear anything.
36An unsecured bicycle valued at $150 was taken from outside Culver's, 1325 E. Capitol Drive, about 3 p.m. Aug. 14.
37Three boys, 17 or younger, residences not released, were arrested for trespassing on private property in the 3500 block of North Prospect Avenue at 4:45 a.m. Aug. 14.
38A red hybrid bicycle valued at $700 was taken from an unlocked garage in the 4300 block of North Alpine Avenue sometime Aug. 12 to 15.
39A lawn mower and trimmer valued at $500 were taken from an unlocked garage in the 4400 block of North Marlborough Drive between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Aug. 15.
40A person, no other information released, was found in the road bleeding from the head in the 5300 block of North Lydell Avenue at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 10. The person, who was intoxicated, was taken to a hospital
41A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of two bottles of wine valued at $232 at Sendik's, 500 E. Silver Spring Drive, at 8 p.m. Aug. 11. The man was seen taking the wine from a shelf and walking out of the store.
42A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting after a report of a "family dispute" in the 4600 block of North Larkin Street at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 11. The man became disorderly and struggled with officers as they attempted to escort him from the residence.
43A Whitefish Bay man, age not released, was to be mailed a citation for disorderly conduct after a report of him yelling profanity in the 300 block of East Hampton Road at 10 p.m. Aug. 11. When police arrived, the man turned up the TV and refused to open the door.
44A Whitefish Bay boy, high school age, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of West Lexington Avenue at 1:25 p.m. Aug. 13.
45A male, age and residence not released, made "improper remarks" to employees at the Whitefish Bay Library, 5420 N. Marlborough Drive, at noon Aug. 11. He was escorted from the library and told not to return or he would be cited for trespassing. No information regarding what he said was available.
