1A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for driving a car without the owner's consent after he was seen driving a car stolen from Caledonia as he entered Interstate 43 from West Brown Deer Road at 8:45 p.m. July 5. Police followed the car and made a "high risk traffic stop" after it exited at Highway 60 in Grafton. The man told police he had just taken his mother's keys.
2A mailbox was knocked over in the 8500 block of North Lake Drive on July 6 or 7. The amount of damage was not listed.
· A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after he grabbed a woman by the throat and attempted to take her cellphone at 6 p.m. June 18. The woman, who freed herself and called 911, waved the 72-hour no contact order.
· A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after she punched a man and threw an ash tray hitting him in the arm at 6 p.m. June 22. He did not require medical assistance.
· A Brown Deer man, age not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct and false imprisonment both domestic violence related after a woman called 911 reporting that her boyfriend was holding her against her will at 11:20 p.m. June 22.
· A Milwaukee woman, age not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after causing a disturbance and yelling at her ex-husband during a child exchange at 5 p.m. June 26.
3A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving while suspended and expired registration in the 4400 block of West Bradley Road at 11:55 p.m. June 27. The woman had a bulge in her right pocket which turned out to be 0.7 grams of marijuana wrapped in pages from a telephone book. She said it was for her own use. A male passenger, age and residence not released, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
4A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct after yelling profanities and throwing food and plates at Applebee's, 9080 N. Green Bay Road, at 7:50 p.m. June 28. The man said he was upset with the manager when he couldn't "bring more fish home." The manager explained this was an "all you can eat fish fry" night but customers had to eat at the restaurant and no takeout was allowed.
5A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and reckless driving in the Park and Ride lot, 9000 N. Green Bay Road, at 11:30 p.m. June 28. The police saw the man doing doughnuts in the lot and when stopped, he said his friends dared him to do it and he thought it was safe. He smelled of alcohol and when asked said he had two beers. His blood alcohol content was 0.08.
6A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, suspended registration, refusal to take a breath test and driving after revocation when stopped for driving without headlights in the 8800 block of North 60th Street at 2 a.m. June 29. The woman said she had "two beers at home" and hadn't turned on her lights because she was just going to the store to buy cigarettes. Her preliminary BAC was 0.158. The woman had refused a blood draw but a warrant was issued and she was taken for a blood draw.
7A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and driving while suspended after weaving in traffic in the 8400 block of North Port Washington Road at 12:50 a.m. June 27. She pulled over with the squad car right behind her and her car then rolled back bumping the squad car. She told police she thought she put her car in park. She denied drinking, when asked, then said she had two or three beers then five or six adding that she was drinking, "Till ya'll got me." Her BAC was 0.26.
8Copper wire valued at $1,600 was taken from an air conditioner unit in the 6600 block of North Bethmaur Lane sometime from May to June 25 and reported June 28.
· A resident was the victim of a scam after sending $1,900 via Western Union to someone in Pennsylvania to buy water craft from someone in Texas as advertized on eBay June 24. After sending that money he was told he had overpaid and to now send $950 believing that the "overpayment" would be returned. He then became suspicious after he was next told he had to send more money for insurance. He was able to stop the second payment and then contacted eBay.
9A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for battery and along with two other Milwaukee females, 19 and 21, for theft of items valued at $352 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 6 p.m. June 24. The three left the store but the girl was stopped and then hit a loss prevention officer.
10Electronics valued at more than $8,000 were taken from the 400 block of West Montclaire Avenue the morning of June 27. The door of the attached garage had been left partially open and a window was broken to gain entry. A neighbor reported two suspicious males in the area at that time.
11A 38-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana and theft at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 4 p.m. June 27. The woman had taken a $30 pair of shorts and attempted to flee the store. When stopped she identified a purse left on a counter as hers. The purse smelled of marijuana but the woman said there was only marijuana residue in it. Three bags holding 6.1 grams of marijuana where found in the purse. When found, the woman said, "Oh, (expletive)."
12A wallet and contents valued at $50 was taken from the men's locker room at LA Fitness, 501 W. Northshore Drive, about 5:30 p.m. June 27.
13A purse was taken from a second floor apartment in the 6700 block of North Sidney Place early morning June 28. Someone had climbed up on the balcony and forced open a patio door to gain entry. The purse was found on the ground with the wallet missing.
14A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after swearing and yelling at security guards at Bayshore Town Center, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 9 p.m. June 28. Security had responded because of this woman arguing with a man. They separated the couple and followed the woman as she left. She stopped and yelled saying they had no reason to follow her and then continued to yell and swear in front of others.
15A 23-year-old man, residence not available, was arrested for drunken driving after he was found slumped over his steering wheel with the car in drive and running on Good Hope at Port Washington roads at 11:50 p.m. June 26. His BAC was 0.12.
16A 29-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for obstruction and theft from Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 10:50 p.m. June 29. The woman had filled a Boston Store bag with items valued at $458 and left going into a nearby restaurant where she was arrested. She gave a false birth date and when that was discovered said she just forgot and gave her daughter's birth date.
17A 51-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for obstruction after lying to police about a theft of Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 7:30 p.m. June 30. A man, not yet found, took four bottles of gin valued at $117 and got into the woman's car and they left. The woman was identified though the plate number and when located told police, she didn't know the man, that he got into her car with a gun and forced her to drive him to 27th and Atkinson. However, surveillance video showed the woman arriving at the store earlier with the man in the car. She then admitted she had lied.
18A 13-year-old boy, residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he set off firecrackers inside Bayshore Town Center near the iPic Theatre, 5800 N. Bayshore Drive, at 9:20 p.m. June 30. He was with two other boys who left but were identified on surveillance video and found about a mile away. They denied any involvement and were not cited.
19About $6,000 in cash was reported taken during a burglary in the 2800 block of West Mill Road about 2:30 a.m. July 1. A door had been kicked in to gain entry. Police had been called to the residence both at 2 a.m. and again at 2:30 a.m. by the resident after she and her boyfriend were arguing. After the second call, the man reportedly packed up his possessions and left. After that, the woman left to to buy cigarettes and when she returned the money was gone.
20Items valued at more than $6,000 including a flat screen TV, two video game consoles and games were taken from the 5200 block of North Mohawk Avenue sometime July 3 to July 5. Pry marks were found on a window where entry was gained.
21A 23-year-old man, residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, driving while suspended and expired registration after he was seen driving without lights and weaving in traffic in the 2300 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 1:37 a.m. July 6. His BAC was 0.16.
No reportable incidents this week.
22Items valued at more than $130 including a phone charger were taken from a car in the alley behind the 2500 block of East Stratford Court on June 29 or 30. Damage to a car door was more than $600.
23An armed robbery was reported in the 3500 block of North Maryland Avenue about 11:45 p.m. July 1. The victim said two males, each holding a gun, approached him and took his cellphone valued at $450 and his wallet with $70 cash. The case is under investigation and no description of the robbers was available. Another robbery by one man also with a gun was reported in the 3400 block of North Maryland Avenue, Milwaukee, at 10:49 p.m. July 3. That robbery is being investigated by Milwaukee police.
24A backpack with clothing and a purse with credit cards, makeup and other items valued at more than $250 were taken from a car in a driveway in the 4300 block of North Marlborough Drive between 8 and 9:30 p.m. June 29 and reported July 1. The theft was reported when the owner was notified of charges on some of the stolen credit cards.
25A car was entered but nothing reported taken in the 4300 block of North Marlborough Drive before 6:30 p.m. June 30.
26A men's mountain bike valued at $250 was taken from an underground garage in the 4300 block of North Oakland Avenue sometime July 1 to July 3. Another bike had been reported stolen from that same garage June 23.
27A car's windshield was hit by a hard object and cracked causing more than $200 damage in the 1800 block of East Jarvis Street before midnight July 4.
28A laptop computer valued at $1,600 was taken from the receiving hallway at the Jewish Community Center, 6401 N. Santa Monica Blvd., on June 7, 8 or 9 and reported July 1.
29Two bicycles, values not available, were reported taken in separate incidents from storage lockers in the 900 block of East Henry Clay Street sometime June 27 to July 3.
30A smartphone valued at $300 was taken from a car in the 100 block of East Chateau Place about noon June 30 and reported July 3.
31A firearm valued at $500 and other items, value not listed, including a digital camcorder, cameras and cash were taken during a burglary in the 1800 block of East Glendale Avenue sometime 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 3. French doors were forced open to gain entry.
32Two Northshore males, ages not released, were arrested for underage drinking after a report of them fighting in the 5400 block of North Lake Drive at 12:45 a.m. July 5. The males said there was no fight, that they were just fooling around but both admitted drinking.
33A package of sports memorabilia left at a front door was taken from the 5700 block of North Lydell Avenue sometime before 3:30 p.m. July 5. The value of the items was not available.
34A Northshore female, age not released, was mailed a citation for disorderly conduct after she pounded on the front door and windows of a home in the 5800 block of North Lydell Avenue about 4:20 a.m. July 6. The woman, who was intoxicated, told police she was lost. A relative picked her up.
35About $25 was taken from a kitchen counter during a burglary and a bicycle valued at $675 from the driveway in the 4800 block of North Diversey Boulevard the afternoon of July 6.
