1A 52-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and open intoxicants in the 3900 block of West Brown Deer Road at 9:25 p.m. Aug. 15. He had a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.258 and was taken for a blood draw. An open bottle of gin and three cans of beer were in his car.
2A 41-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested for possession of about 8 grams of marijuana in the 8900 block of North Park Plaza Court at 4 a.m. Aug. 16. Police were called to the apartment building after a man was found unconscious on a hallway floor outside the woman's apartment.
3A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of $262 of clothing from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 20. The woman was seen putting items into a purse, leaving the store and driving away. When stopped, she said she was in a hurry to pick up her children. At first she denied the theft but then admitted it saying she needed new clothes for a job interview and also because her husband was divorcing her and she wanted to wear nice clothes when he was around.
4A Milwaukee father and son, 54 and 23, were arrested for theft of clothing valued at more than $550 from Burlington Coat Factory, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 4:40 p.m. Aug. 21. The son was found with a pliers and a side cutter. One of the men was recognized because he had taken items and fled the store a few weeks before. The father admitted stealing was a "dumb mistake."
5Two bikes valued at $190 were taken from a garage in the 4600 block of West Spring Lane the afternoon of Aug. 21.
6Three forklift propane tanks valued at $360 were taken from the back of the Tile Shop, 9130 N. Green Bay Road, between Aug. 20 to 22. A lock was cut on a storage unit.
7A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of five or six pairs of Levis valued at $240 and a probation violation - he was on parole for theft - at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 11:20 a.m. Aug. 24. The man left the store and tried to drive away but was stopped. An employee recognized the man because he had been in the store the day before acting suspiciously. He was also wearing the same clothes.
8A 21-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving and a 19-year-old Brown Deer woman for underage drinking at Fairy Chasm Park, 5712 W. Fairy Chasm Road, at 4 a.m. Aug. 26. The man, who said he had two drinks, had a BAC of 0.14. The woman had a preliminary BAC of 0.102.
Two domestic violence incidents were reported this week.
9A 20-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for drunken driving and warned for speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 7800 block of North Port Washington Road at 12:50 a.m. Aug. 26. The man said his last drink was at 6 p.m. and he was just trying to get home. His BAC was 0.15.
10Two 18-year-old women of Glendale and Sugar Grove, Ill., were arrested for underage drinking and disorderly conduct after police were called for two women fighting in the 8500 block of North Fox Croft Lane at 11:10 p.m. Aug. 26. The Glendale woman was found running down the block waving to police. She said it was the other woman who started the fight. She also said the two had met while both were in alcohol rehabilitation. The Illinois woman, with a preliminary BAC of 0.149, blamed the Glendale woman for the fight. The Glendale woman's preliminary BAC was 0.006.
11Tools, including a cordless drill, value not available, were taken from a truck in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road between noon and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28.
12A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested Aug. 31 for fraud/issuing of worthless checks after opening a checking account and later depositing at least one worthless check at Educator's Credit Union, 7130 N. Port Washington Road, on June 26. The man opened the account with a deposit of $5 and was given a credit card with a $500 limit. He went to the drive-thru window and withdrew that money as a cash advance and later deposited a worthless check withdrawing that money as well. Similar incidents of fraud have been reported and the investigation is ongoing.
13A 67-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for fraud on an innkeeper for refusing to pay her $437 bill at LaQuinta Inn, 5110 N. Port Washington Road, at 11:20 a.m. Aug. 27. The woman had been staying at the Inn since May 16 while her home was being repaired and had paid her bill weekly. On this date, as she was checking out, she said she didn't owe anything insisting she had prepaid for the past week and told police they should arrest her. They arrested her.
14An armed robbery was reported at the Citgo station, 6204 N. Port Washington Road, at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 27. A man, about 25, entered the store and said, "Give me the money." The clerk said, "Come on, we're brothers. Don't do this." The man then lifted his shirt to reveal a gun and the clerk handed over $50 all in singles. The robber fled on foot.
A 76-year-old Fox Point man was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 28 for battery and disorderly conduct both domestic violence related after he reportedly choked a woman about 12:45 p.m. Aug. 27. The victim said the man was her live-in boyfriend for the past 26 years and he became angry and violent at a relative's residence. The man denied the allegations saying the woman had been angry and aggressive toward him.
15A purse and contents including $900 cash, a Social Security card and credit cards was taken from an unlocked car in the 5800 block of North Bayshore Drive the afternoon of Aug. 25. The woman said she hid her purse under the passenger seat and noticed it missing while paying a bill on North Avenue.
16An electronic tablet valued at $700 was taken from a car in the 5200 block of North Port Washington Road about 4:45 p.m. Aug. 28. A window was broken to gain entry.
17A 22-year-old woman, residence not listed, was arrested for theft and possession of marijuana while working for a cleaning company cleaning Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 11 p.m. Aug. 28. The woman admitted taking items valued at more than $300 over the past few weeks while she worked. The items, she said, were birthday presents for family members. She had a marijuana cigarette in her possession.
18Copper grounding wire valued at $550 was taken from hydrogen tanks at Noram Clutch, 4360 N. Green Bay Ave., sometime over the last two weeks and reported at 10 a.m. Aug. 30.
19Two males, 17 and 18, residence not listed, were arrested for theft of two pairs of sunglasses valued at $313 from Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 30. One diverted an employee while the other took one pair of glasses and then he took a pair and both fled the store. When arrested, one admitted the theft saying he needed the glasses to match his watch. They were banned from the mall.
20GPS units each valued at more than $200 were taken from two cars at Johnson Controls, 5106 N. Port Washington Road, during the day Aug. 30. There was sign of forced entry.
21Police are investigating a group of people who failed to pay for their food at Buffalo Wild Wings, 590 W. Northshore Drive, at 10 p.m. Aug. 30. One of the suspects is known because he had earlier filled out an application for employment before walking out on his bill.

22Six bicycles, valued from $50 to $100 each, were reported taken from the 4100 of North Ardmore Avenue, four Aug. 19 or 20 and two Aug. 25 or 26. A pink bicycle valued at $200 was taken from the same block and recovered a block away about 10 p.m. Aug. 28.
23A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for outstanding warrants and warned for trespassing along with his 17-year-old Milwaukee girlfriend after a relative called police when he refused to leave a residence in the 3800 block of North Prospect Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 24.
24Three bicycles with a total value of $900 were taken from outside The American Legion Post, 4121 N. Wilson Drive, before 8 p.m. Aug. 24. The bikes were secured and locks cut.
25A front window was reported broken causing $200 damage in the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue at 1:25 p.m. Aug. 26.
26A 16-year-old Fox Point girl was arrested for obstruction and possession of tobacco when she was stopped for driving a car without license plates in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 3 a.m. Aug. 25. She lied about her age, she said, so she wouldn't get a citation for curfew violation.
27Two plastic outdoor tables valued at $100 were taken from the 2500 block of East Newton Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 25.
28A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of a trace amount of marijuana after being stopped for nonregistration on Oakland and Newport avenues at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 27.
29Two bicycles valued at about $300 each were taken, one from the 4000 block of North Oakland Avenue between 4 and 5 p.m. Aug. 28, and one from the 1400 block of East Lake Bluff Boulevard during the day Aug. 30.
30A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 53 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 1300 block of East Capitol Drive at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 30. He was taken for a blood draw.
One domestic violence incident was reported this week.
31A purse and contents including a $9,000 ring and a pair of sunglasses valued at $150 was taken from a car at the Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., sometime 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 27. The purse was in plain view and a window was broken to gain entry.
32A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 100 block of West Hampton Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 30. His BAC was 0.12.
33A $120 girl's mountain bicycle was taken from inside the entrance to the Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., between 5 and 6 p.m. Aug. 30.
34A 49-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for felony drunken driving, with six prior convictions, after driving erratically in the 4700 block of North Lake Drive at 10 p.m. Aug. 30. The woman, who refused to take field sobriety tests and a breath test, was taken for a blood draw.
