Noted author and lecturer Richard Lee Dawley will speak to the Glendale Senior Citizens' Club on "The Amish in Wisconsin" in the Senior Center on the lower level of Glen Hills Middle School, 2600 W. Mill Road. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, at 1:30 p.m.
Dawley has written seven books related to the Amish and Mennonite communities and serves as a step-on guide for all-day Amish tours. This will be an educational, informative, and entertaining presentation for everyone. Dawley has visited and lived with the Amish extensively and will clear up any myths, questions, or curiosities that you have about the Amish culture.
Non-members are always welcome. Refreshments, as usual, will follow the program. Free. For more information, call 414-540-2100.
