B&E General Contractors of Glendale was awarded two Gold Awards at the Wisconsin Remodelers Awards ceremony on January 20th, 2012, sponsored by Milwaukee NARI.
The first gold award was in the category of Residential Bathrooms, for a project featuring unique universal access/aging in place qualities. Highlights include an oversized no-threshold shower, cabinetry and fixtures to accomodate medical equipment, non-abrasvie grooming surfaces, and in-floor heat.
The second gold award is in the category of Residential Addition, for a sunroom addition. This project features oversized accordion style retractable doors and windows, unique interior styling with brick, cedar and tile, skylights, dramatic pitched ceiling, and exterior brick and sill details
Mark Brick, CR, CGR, CAPS, president of B&E, was awarded the Mary Fox Hagner Lifetime Achievement award, for over a quarter-century of service to NARI, including terms as local and National president, Chapter president of the year, and work on the government, Foundation and membership committees.
