Artists Working in Education to host a night in tribute to Mary Nohl
Artists Working in Education will be hosting A Celebration of a Creative Spirit – Mary Nohl: Inside & Outside on Thursday, June 25 from 5-8 p.m. at the Lake Park Community Room, 3133 E. Newberry Blvd. (below the Lake Park Bistro). Meet author Barbara Manger and designer Janine Smith of the newly released book Mary Nohl Inside & Outside, enjoy light refreshments, gain insights into Mary Nohl’s creative spirit, view examples of Mary Nohl’s artwork and enter your name in a drawing to win a behind the scenes tour of Mary Nohl’s artwork at the John Michael Kohler Art Center, a ceramic torso mug made by Mary Nohl and a silver pin reproduction of Mary’s artwork.
The event costs $25. To register make a check payable to AWE and return it to 2819 W. Highland Blvd. Milwaukee, WI 53208. Advance copies of Mary Nohl Inside & Outside can also be purchased for $25 and autographed the night of the event. All event proceeds will benefit Artists Working in Education.
