Farmers' Market Volunteers Prepare for 8th Season

Volunteers for the Fox Point Farmers' Market met Saturday May 15 to learn about the 8th season, which opens june 19. The market is open every Saturday from 8-noon in the west parking lot of Stormonth School.

Fresh Wisconsin produce, sometimes picked hours before the market opens, is the centerpiece of the market, but many other delicious foods and fresh flowers are offered. Live music or demonstrations are featured from 10 to noon. The Mambo Surfers perform opening day.

Volunteers will distribute the season's schedule to all residents of Fox Point, plus part of Bayside, Glendale and Whitefish Bay. Assistance with the market's set-up and clean-up is also contributed.
